|Recommended: YesGreat experience so far. Would recommend 100 — Amazing location next to the metro, restaurants etc. Top level amenities. The gym could use a couple of additions squat rack . The staff is great.
|Recommended: NoIssues with large pets and management — - Management recently decided to allow large 150 pound dogs in the building causing many issues - I have personally seen residents fight in lobby about one resident dog attacking another resident child - High rise apartment living is not the place for large dogs - Majority residents do not have dogs. Management new pet policy is helping existing residents - Management is not friendly and awkward - Apartment is a home and requires a friendly management staff - its all about community

|Recommended: YesEnjoying my first year here — The apartments are a good size and the building has lots of amenities. The area is convenient and lively for young professionals. I enjoy living here and would recommend it to anyone.
|Recommended: YesSolid Living Community — We've been in Ballston Meridian Commons for 8 months and we love it. The parking can be a bit difficult due to the small spaces, but overall we have no complaints. The halls are pretty clean and the coffee in the morning is delicious We are also big fans of the gym, which has surprisigly up-to-date and advanced machines. 4 5 stars overall
|Recommended: YesGreat and affordable property — Overall I had a very positive experience at the Meridian. I list out some of the finer details below, but all in all it was a very well-kept building with great amenities and very affordable. There were some very minor layout problems I experienced while at the Meridian, and being that you're in the middle of Ballston, the streets can get noisy sometimes. But aside from those issues, the apartments were beautiful, spacious, and of reasonably good quality. Pros -Beautiful apartments with sun rooms, clean kitchens and bathrooms, and a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were also pretty spacious with plenty of room for my roommates and I to move about the kitchen, have a spacious living room, and plenty of closet space. -Great amenities the business center, pool, and gym are all fantastic and have no additional costs -Affordable My roommates and I only needed a six-month lease, and the Meridian was one of the only buildings in the area not to jack-up the price for our lease -Maintenance staff were always timely and helpful -Leasing agents were very friendly and helpful and made a point to remember your name -Controlled building access and package system were also nice touches -The lobby is always clean and the staff always look professional -Moving in and out was fairly easy just had to rent the freight elevator Cons -The dryer wouldn't always dry my clothes in one take would sometimes have to do 2-3 tries -The layout of the parking garage is pretty cramped it's not always easy to park your car -Just a neighborhood-issue rather than the Meridian, but the streets can be pretty noisy. We were on the sixth floor and I could still hear pedestrians below us late into the night. - very minor issue but all of the light fixtures just seemed backward to me I normally consider the switch closest to the light to be the one to flip, but it always happened to be the other one, but I guess that's just me
|Recommended: YesOverall it is a good apartment — I tell them it is a good place to live for the price. I like coming home everyday and the staff at the desk are great.
|Recommended: YesGreat property for young life — I love living in the Ballston Meridian. The area is amazing, and the apartments are in wonderful shape. The only con is how hot it can get in the apartment itself, even with the AC.
|Recommended: YesFantastic — The Meridian at Ballston Commons is a great place to live. The pool offers a nice escape during the summer heat. The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If I have an issue that needs to be resolved with the apartment, the maintenance staff is prompt and very thorough. I would recommend to anyone looking to live in the Arlington area to strongly consider The Meridian.
|Recommended: YesSpacious and new — Friendly receptionists. Nice gym and racquetball court.
|Recommended: YesI think the property is convenient and well-located with exceptional service. — I would tell them that the property is well-located with responsive employees that attend to the residents needs on-time. All the neighbors are considerate and respectful of each other.
|Recommended: YesEnjoyed my 3 years here — Overall, I enjoyed living here for 3 years. I do have a couple of minor complaints. The appliances countertops and floorring are kind of crappy. They need to be updated badly to keep up with the other apartment buildings nearby. The overall noise level is not that great either, walls need to be insulated better, there are some loud neighbors who play music a lot and I could always hear it.
|Recommended: NoGood — If parking lot could become bigger, it is convenient for me to park easily. Because some lot is for compact car only.
|Recommended: YesBest management team and building I have ever lived — I would not leave if I had not bought my own home.I would highly recommend Meridian Ballston to anybody. The maintenance and the management team are excellent I have lived in many rental apt complexes .
|Recommended: YesStandard Modern High Rise Apartment — Good place to rent, there is no need to worry that you will be particularly unsatisfied or unhappy with living here There's not a lot of community or any particular charm to the Ballston Meridian, but it is a modern building with good construction, decent appliances, and the comforts of a professional staff that is part of a large organization. The doorman in the evenings isn't amazingly friendly, but maybe that's what you want in a night doorman. The leasing office is generally helpful to work with, but because it's a big corporation, don't expect the rules to bend for you at all.
|Recommended: NoDon't move in if you plan on ever moving out, they'll screw you over. — Wanted to make two shout outs today Lizzie, thanks girl for not handling my problem with our move-out bill and basically forgetting about it. To refresh your memory, 2 months after we moved out we finally received a bill saying that we owed 200 to replace the vanity. We called about the price because it originally said on the paper we would owe 150 for vanity replacement, and I just wanted that cleared up. Didn't hear back ever so I had to call 4 days later. Que Taylor, my second shout out--you're the best Thanks for telling us that it was actually 2 vanities that were replaced, which should have been 300 but you guys were cool enough to knock off 100 because we were good tenants for so many years. But wait actually there was a mixup, and your information was wrong it wasn't 2 vanities, you just made up the good tenant thing and were actually overcharging for 1, but decided not to give me a call back or email me to let me know. Awesome customer service all around. Thanks guys.
