Do you allow pets?

Yes, we do! Our apartments are pet-friendly to both dogs and cats. We do have a limit of 2 pets per apartment. A monthly fee of $50 per pet is assessed, in addition to a non-refundable upfront pet fee of $500 (total, not per pet)

Do you accept often restricted dog breeds like Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and Huskies?

At Meridian at Ballston Commons we welcome Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Huskies, German Shepherds and any other dog breed as we have no weight limits or breed restrictions for dogs.

Does Meridian at Ballston Commons offer flexible rent payment options?

Yes, residents at Meridian at Ballston Commons are able to pay on a prescribed flexible schedule through the Flex platform.
 

Does Meridian at Ballston Commons have EV charging stations available?

Yes, Meridian at Ballston Commons offers electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. There are four Level 2 Plugzio EV charging stations located and clearly marked on the P1 level of the parking garage. The charging rates are a $1 session fee, followed by $1.50 per hour for the first four hours, and then $3 per hour for each hour after that.
 

Are you close to the metro?

Yes. We are directly across the street from the Ballston Metro Station and are approximately a three minute walk. You are able to check train times on our Transit Screen, transit app, or directly through the WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) website.

What are your prices?

Our community features studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with den, and two-bedroom floor plans with a variety of layouts to match your needs. Our rents may change daily, so for the most up-to-date pricing, we recommend that you check availability on the floor plans page. Additionally, we do have a $50 application fee, a $500 Move-in fee, and other applicable charges as outlined on your monthly statement. Should you have questions on any charges, please feel free to contact our wonderful office staff.

Are utilities included in my rent?

Utilities are separate from rent. Every resident is responsible for gas, water, and electric. Residents will need to set up gas and electric through Washington Gas and Dominion VA Power. The Management Office will set up water upon move-in with Studebaker Submetering. Proof of utility transfer is required prior to receiving keys to the apartment.

Is there street parking?

There is street parking all around the building, as well as public parking garages within a few blocks. Street parking is metered and many spaces are 2-hour parking enforced by Arlington County.

Is there guest parking?

Yes, guest parking is $10/day (24-hour period). Due to higher occupancy levels, we are only allowing for guest parking passes on the weekend.

Is there parking in the building?

There are three levels of garage parking for residents and guests (on the weekends). These are unassigned spaces - residents can pay monthly parking of $150/month for the first space, and $200/month for any additional spaces.

Can I reserve amenities?

​Yes, the Guest Suite is $200/night and is located on the lobby level. The Clubroom is $150/hour during weekdays with a 3-hour minimum and $200/hour on weekends with a 3-hour minimum. View all amenities.

How can I get my packages?

We have a Package Concierge locker system and package room on the lobby level near the Fitness Center. Notifications come via email/text from Package Concierge.

What are the Concierge hours?

The Concierge/Front Desk is open from 8:00 am - 2:00 am, 7-days a week.

What are the fitness center hours?

The Fitness Center is open 7-days a week, from 5:00 am - 1:00 am.

Is there dry cleaning in the building?

Unfortunately, the dry cleaner that was located in Meridian at Ballston closed. There are numerous dry cleaners nearby including Continental Valet (.2 miles) and Lincoln Cleaners (.1 miles).

Can I pay my rent online?

Yes, you can pay rent online through the Resident Portal on our website. You can pay via eCheck (checking account) or credit card.

Are there restaurants and bars nearby?

We are just steps from a number of restaurants and bars, including Ted's Bulletin, TrueFood Kitchen, Nandos, Copa, Rustico, Punch Bowl Social and The Salt LIne. We are directly across the street from the Ballston Quarter Mall, which has both restaurants and a Food Hall with various options for take-out. We also have several coffee locations within 2 blocks which include Dunkin Donuts, Republik, Compass Coffee, and Good Company.

Is there grocery shopping nearby?

Yes, we have Harris Teeter and Giant nearby. In addition, we have a Target and CVS roughly 1-2 blocks away. Harris Teeter is about a 5 min walk away, and Giant is about 1 mile away. Delivery services, such as Instacart, are prevalent and easy to use in our area for those who don't wish to do their own shopping.

How do I submit maintenance requests?

Maintenance requests can be submitted through the Resident Portal. You can also call the Leasing Office, speak with the Front Desk, or call the emergency maintenance line if it's after hours.

Is there anywhere nearby where I’m able to get my car washed?
